Our latest project under construction is a major remodel of a 1970's Hope Ranch house.  While maintaining much of the structure, Allen Construction is taking it down to the studs for new windows, insulation, electrical, mechanical equipment and finishes.  The new floor plan provides a Master Suite and deck with the best view in the house and improved kitchen, bathrooms, family room and children's bedrooms.

The finished home will have better massing and a more classic Santa Barbara Spanish look, with tile floors, thick wood doors, wrought iron work, and interior design by Shannon Scott.  The owners grew up in Santa Barbara but have lived in the Bay Area, and they are anxious to return to their old/new home early next year!

We are proud to be designing a major remodel for the La Cumbre Country Club pool facility.  The project includes replacing two pools, remodeling the third, enlarging and changing all the pool decking, and building a new pool house and outdoor bar. The new pool house is designed to be sympathetic to the adjacent club house designed originally by George Washington Smith and remodeled over the years. Construction is expected to be complete for the summer of 2017 swim season.
